Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10, 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. who was a tool and die manufacturer, who been employed as a worker in the manufacturing firm. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her three siblings. Stone was thought to be gifted academically when she was a kid and started the second grade when she was five. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She also competed at the Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to explore a career as models. In less than a month she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. The next step was Europe in the course of a year with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. However, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene within Europe she decided to take up acting while living there. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's movie "Stardust Memories" when he was twenty. The film was met with mixed reviews.
