Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is an American actress and producer famous for the roles she played on Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and The television series The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is a producer as well as an actress on stage, in theatre and television. Her acting career began in the theatre. Later, she was a part of various television series as well as independent and mainstream movies. Her biggest success came as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico in addition to appearing on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes.
